A loose bouquet of red and orange flowers fills the top half of this portrait image, the petals formed from translucent washes that bleed into one another. Deep scarlet sits at the centre, with softer orange and blue-tinged edges at the upper right. Small splatters and droplets scatter around the blooms.
Broad green leaf strokes fan downward from the flowers, with teal and dark navy lines marking the stems. Streaks of metallic gold run through the leaves and petals. The background is a pale grey and cream wash with faint vertical drips at the bottom, leaving plenty of open space beneath the bouquet.
