Two round, feathery seed heads sit on the right of the frame, their white filaments fanning out in fine, soft threads. Small brown seeds show through the fluff, and a few loose tufts drift left across the picture, one trailing well away from the rest, which gives a sense of a light breeze.
The background is a smooth blur of warm tan and beige, with a faint band of muted green along the bottom edge. Two thin stems, one brown and one twisting and green, rise from the lower right. It is a close, shallow-focus photograph with gentle natural light and plenty of open space on the left.
