A fast creek tumbles down through a forest, shot with a long exposure that turns the water into soft, milky ribbons. Large rounded boulders sit in the stream, their dark grey surfaces dotted with green moss. Small cascades step down in the middle distance and lead the eye up the frame toward the trees.
The water carries a cool turquoise-blue cast against the grey stone, while bright green foliage fills the top of the portrait frame. Shaded trunks and dense leaves sit behind the rapids. The wide-angle view keeps the foreground rocks large and sharp, and the lighting is even and shaded, with no direct sun on the water.
