Seen from directly above, six red and white striped umbrellas sit in an even row along the top of the picture. Each one casts a small brown shadow to its right. They sit on a wide band of pale cream sand that fills the upper third of the image.
Below the sand, a blush-pink strip of damp shore leads to a creamy white line of foam. The lower right fills with soft turquoise water, flecked with pale bubbles and white swirls. The surface looks thick and textured, like layered paint or pastel, in a muted palette of cream, pink and aqua.
