A square composition of winter foliage on a pale, cream parchment ground. On the left, a cluster of green oak leaves with visible veins sits above a small group of brown acorns in their caps. On the right, a large brown pine cone hangs from a branch of long green needles, with golden-brown oak leaves behind it.
Small white snowflakes and flecks of snow settle on the leaves, cone and needles. Faint handwritten script in brown ink runs across the background, with a round postmark reading "Boulogne-sur-Mer" near the bottom. The rendering is a digital illustration with a layered, collage-like look, in muted greens, browns and soft beige.
