Seen from directly above, a wide cream beach fills most of this square image. Small round umbrellas in teal, orange, pink, yellow and red are scattered across the sand, each with tiny figures and towels beside them. The spacing is loose and uneven, which gives the scene a relaxed, busy-day feel.
Along the top, turquoise water swirls into pale aqua and white foam, with soft mottled patches that look like poured or washed paint. The shoreline curves gently across the upper third. The sand is left almost blank, so the bright umbrellas stand out against it and the cool blues sit calmly above.
