A single tall waterfall falls straight down a vertical granite cliff, the long exposure turning the water into a soft, silky white ribbon. It fans out into mist near the base, where the stream disappears behind dark green conifers. A strip of deep blue sky shows at the very top, edged with a few small trees.
Warm afternoon light catches the upper rock face in tones of honey, orange and cream, with cracks and ledges picked out in fine detail. The left side of the fall sits in cool grey shadow, which sets off the white water. Bright green foliage clings to the cliff on the right, and dark pine boughs fill the bottom corners. It is a sharp, richly detailed photograph.
