A broad waterfall spills across several stepped limestone ledges, the white water falling in thick sheets and fine streams. Tufts of green grass and moss sit on the rock lips, and some clumps have turned rusty orange, which breaks up the white of the foam.
Behind the falls a dense hillside of deciduous and evergreen trees fills the top half of the frame in layered greens. Bright sunlight lights the foam and foliage, with shadow on the left. At the bottom edge the water settles into a clear turquoise pool. It is a sharp, detailed photograph with the spray frozen mid-fall.
