A village of cream, pale blue and ochre houses with red-orange roofs climbs a low hill under a flat, cool blue sky. Two square bell towers rise at the left, and a tall palm stands near the right edge. The buildings are built from small, blocky dabs of thick colour, with tiny dark windows picked out in blue.
In front of the houses a pale wall runs across the middle, with rounded green and blue-green trees, two tall dark cypresses and a smaller palm below it. The foreground is a field of burnt orange and red strokes dotted with cream flecks. Heavy ridges of paint give a raised, textured finish, like a palette knife painting rendered as a flat print.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
