About Textured Bouquet
A full bouquet fills the upper two thirds of this portrait composition, built from short dabs and flecks of pale blue, white and grey-green that read as massed blossom rather than single identifiable flowers. Scattered through the cluster are small marks of rust red, ochre and warm gold, concentrated near the centre and around the edges where petals appear to catch light. The background is a soft off-white wash with faint green tinting, leaving plenty of quiet space around the bouquet's ragged outline.
Below the flowers, a tall clear glass vase is sketched with loose vertical strokes of aqua, blue and pale yellow, its form suggested rather than outlined. The vase sits on a narrow band of turquoise and sea green running across the base, with a soft horizontal smudge of tan to the right. The overall feel is airy and unhurried, a light-filled floral study that stays gentle and slightly faded rather than bright.
Suits bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways and living rooms decorated in white, oatmeal or pale grey. The aqua base band works well in coastal and beach house interiors, alongside linen bedding, rattan and light timber. Hang above a bedhead, a hall console or a freestanding bath where the soft background can breathe. Browse more blue art, multi-coloured art, or read Art above the bed: what size and how high.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
