About The Ground Wall Art Print
The image splits into two horizontal bands. The upper two thirds is a mottled off-white and grey field, scuffed and scratched like an old plastered wall, with faint darker marks drifting across it. A single vintage biplane sits just above the dividing line, nose to the left, its double wings, struts, bracing wires and fixed undercarriage drawn in worn greys and browns. The lower third is a solid black band, cracked and pitted, showing patches of rust brown underneath.
Across that black band, thin white scratched lines sketch loose rectangular shapes, like a plan or fence seen through the dark. The whole picture has the character of a salvaged surface: quiet, aged and slightly austere, with the small aircraft the only recognisable form.
Suits a home office, study or hallway where a dark anchor is wanted, and works in a boy's or teenager's room with an aviation theme. Pairs with timber desks, black metal shelving, leather and linen in greys and tan. Hang it on a white or pale grey wall so the black band reads cleanly.
