A small island sits across the middle of the frame, thick with green palms and low bright shrubs, with a narrow strip of pale sand along its edge. Above it the sky is a saturated blue with several white clouds clustered on the left and right sides.
The picture is split at the waterline. Below the surface, clear turquoise water gives way to a reef of blue, orange, pink and golden-green coral. Striped fish in blue, yellow and orange swim in the lower corners, and a spiny lionfish drifts on the right. It reads as a bold, heavily saturated photograph with a digital finish.
