Three tall glass vases stand in a row across a burgundy band, drawn with loose white and slate-blue strokes that outline the rims and sides. Thin black stems rise from each vase to deep red blooms that sit above the rim, and the shapes are simple and rose-like.
The background is a warm cream wash with patches of pale ochre, set against the dark red lower third. Thick white smears and drips cross the vases and the foot of the image, and two red flowers appear to float inside the middle and right vases. The look is abstract, with visible brushwork and layered texture.
