This is a night photograph taken on the road deck of Tower Bridge in London. The camera looks along the carriageway toward the stone north tower, whose green pitched roof and pale spires are lit against a dark, cloudy sky. Lit windows glow warm yellow and orange in the tower face, and an arched opening at its base glows blue.
A long exposure turns passing traffic into streaks of white and red that curve along the wet road surface. Thin red lines also run diagonally across the sky and the bridge's upper walkway. The blue-teal suspension girders with white lattice work frame the tower on both sides, and a round red emblem sits on the left girder. Distant city lights sit low on the horizon.
