Two black-capped chickadees sit on pine branches, one on the left leaning forward along a limb, the other on the right gripping a slanting brown branch and looking left. Both have black caps, white cheeks, soft grey wings and buff-yellow bellies, with the colour pooled loosely in the watercolour washes.
The background is a mottled teal and aqua wash with small speckles of paint. Green pine needles fan out in fine brush strokes along the branches, and small patches of white snow rest on the wood and needles. A cursive signature sits in the lower right corner. The look is loose, wet and translucent.

My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
