Two horses gallop across a plain white background, one black and one rich chestnut bay. The black horse runs in front on the left, its glossy coat catching grey highlights along the shoulder and flank, and its long tail streams out behind in loose, wispy strokes.
The bay horse runs close behind on the right, head turned toward us, showing a white blaze down the face and pink muzzle. Both manes fly back in dark, feathery lines. The rendering has soft pencil-like texture and strong contrast between the dark bodies and the empty white space, with pale hooves marking the movement.
