A scatter of open beach umbrellas sits across a wide, pale sand beach. Pink, red, navy, aqua, green with dark spots, orange and blue-striped canopies are set on thin brown poles, each with a soft grey shadow. The largest umbrellas crowd the lower left corner, while smaller ones trail back toward the water.
Behind them a band of teal and turquoise sea runs across the upper third, with white foam breaking along the shoreline under a pale grey-blue sky. Broad, dry-brush strokes in beige, cream and grey form the sand, and a patch of aqua reflection pools at the lower right. The square format and loose, textured brushwork give it a relaxed painted-on-canvas look.
