About Viva
Colour spreads across the canvas in soft-edged pools rather than brushstrokes. A hot magenta mass fills the lower left, bordered by pale pink and a band of deep teal. Through the centre, acid lime and yellow bleed into turquoise, while coral and salmon dominate the upper right beside a lilac cloud. Navy and black run in feathered veins between them, breaking into fine fern-like branches near the top left, where small cream circles float as separated droplets over dark blue.
A restless, high-key composition where the colours appear to be still moving. The mood is bright and playful rather than calm, held together by the dark channels that weave through the middle.
Works in rooms that are otherwise plain: a white or pale grey living room wall, a hallway above a low console, or a bedroom with neutral linen.
