About Whimsical Unicorn I
A unicorn in flat metallic gold leaps from right to left across a square cream canvas, front legs lifted and hind legs extended mid-stride. Behind it a wide pastel rainbow arcs from the lower left corner to the upper right, banded in soft pink, lilac, mint green and pale yellow with blurred, watercolour-soft edges. A scatter of small gold sparkles and four-point stars trails from the horn and along the flowing mane, and faint white speckles drift over the textured, linen-look background.
The mood is light and playful rather than detailed: the unicorn reads as a clean silhouette with only the mane, tail and hoof shapes drawn in, so the gold and the rainbow do all the work.
Made for a child's bedroom, nursery or playroom, especially above a white cot, a low bookshelf or a pastel bedhead.
