A dense meadow fills the whole frame, built from short, choppy strokes of green, olive and grey that read as leaves and grass. Scattered through it are purple and pink flower heads, each a small cluster of dabbed paint, with a few red, white and pale blue blooms tucked between them.
Yellow-green highlights brighten the upper half, where the grass looks sunlit, while the lower half sinks into darker greys and deep greens. A strip of grey hill and pale lilac sky shows in the top left corner. The thick, visible brush texture gives it the look of an acrylic or oil on board.
