A wide, slow river curves through a snowy meadow at sunset. Its still surface holds the glow of the sky, with a pale yellow patch in the foreground and a deeper rose-brown reflection near the left bank. Snow covers the banks in blue and white strokes, with dry grasses and low shrubs poking through on both sides.
On the left, two tall trees carry rust-red and burnt orange foliage, lit from behind so small sparks of light show between the trunks. Smaller dark trees stand along the far horizon beneath a band of orange. Above, purple and grey clouds open to pale yellow. The brushwork is loose and chunky, in a contemporary impressionist style, with strong colour contrast between warm sky and cool snow.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
