About World Map Blush
A world map fills the centre of a white ground, drawn in loose ink outlines and filled with watery washes of grey and blush pink. The continents are sketched rather than precise: Africa and Asia carry the heaviest grey tone, Europe and the Americas break into pale broken coastlines, and Antarctica runs as a soft band across the base. Thin curved meridian lines travel from top to bottom, and the oceans hold faint pink blooms where the wash has pooled and dried unevenly.
The mood is quiet and light. It reads as a casual watercolour study of the globe, more decorative than geographic, with the pink giving it warmth against the grey linework. Small ink dots stand in for island groups, and the edges of the map fade into bare white paper rather than ending at a border.
