About The Windmill
A tall whitewashed windmill fills the left of the canvas, its four lattice sails spread wide against a sky that runs from deep cobalt at the top to pale haze at the horizon. Two smaller windmills stand in the mist on the right, and the hillside beneath is painted in soft greys and creams so the white tower is the brightest thing in the picture.
It is a clean, calm Mediterranean scene in the manner of the old Spanish and Greek island mills, and the blue alone lifts a room.
The Windmill suits a kitchen, a dining room, a hallway or a coastal-style living room, and it pairs with white walls, blue and white ceramics and natural timber. Browse more Mediterranean art, landscape oil paintings.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
