About Red Bridge Skyline
A long suspension bridge runs the full width of the canvas, its deck drawn as a dark brown horizontal band about a third down from the centre. Two towers rise from it, the nearer one blocked in rust red and deep brown, the far one smaller and warmer in tone. Thin dark cables loop between them in shallow curves and drop in fine vertical lines. Behind, a skyline of pale towers is scraped in soft grey, blue and cream, half dissolved into the light sky.
Below the bridge the water is worked with broad horizontal knife strokes, dragging red and brown reflections downward into grey. The character is quiet and weathered, a city seen through haze rather than a detailed portrait of it.
Built for a wide wall: above a long sofa, a sideboard in a dining room, or a hallway run where a panoramic shape works best. The rust reds and greys sit well with timber furniture, concrete or charcoal surfaces, tan leather and black metal shelving in modern and industrial interiors.
