About Twelve Apostles Sunrise
The view looks along the Victorian coast from a high clifftop. On the left, layered limestone cliffs catch early light and glow ochre and apricot above a narrow strip of sand, with low green scrub running along their tops. Two free-standing rock stacks rise out of the water at centre and right, their flat tops touched with the same warm light and their bases ringed by pale surf. The sea fills the right half in long-exposure blue, smoothed into soft violet-grey streaks that blur where waves break over submerged reef.
A quiet, wide-open coastal image. The contrast between warm lit stone and cool, softened water gives it a calm, early-morning stillness rather than drama.
