About Brisbane Skyline
An elevated view looks west along the Brisbane River as it curves through the city. On the left bank, the CBD towers rise in pale grey, glass and white, with a dark spire-topped building standing above the cluster. The right bank carries a line of tall residential towers, a domed roof among them, with a construction crane behind. A small blue ferry pushes a white wake across the centre of the river, and a second vessel is moored at a terminal on the right.
The sky is a clean, cloudless blue that deepens towards the top of the frame, and the lattice shadow of the Story Bridge falls across the foreground water in dark diagonals. It is a bright, still, midday photograph, precise rather than moody, with crisp architectural detail throughout.
