A dense canopy of bare tree branches fills the lower two thirds of this square image, drawn as a flat taupe silhouette against a pale blush-beige sky. Thick limbs twist up from the bottom edge and split into finer and finer twigs that spread toward the top.
The upper third is left open and empty, which gives the branching room to breathe. Tiny flecks and broken twigs scatter near the tips, giving the edges a slightly grainy, stamped texture. There is no depth or shading, only two tones, so it reads as a graphic, illustrated take on a winter tree.
