About Big Island Hop
Five slender palms rise across a flat, collaged landscape. Four are inked in near-black navy, their fronds splayed like spiky stars, while the central palm is a warm tan-brown with a thin curving trunk. Behind them the land is broken into overlapping blocks: olive green hills, mustard and ochre stripes, grey-blue flats and a band of dark brown at the left edge. Above, a mottled blue sky carries three large cream cloud shapes with soft, torn-looking edges and faint green tinting.
The character is graphic and calm rather than tropical postcard, with dry, scraped layers of colour and visible paper-like texture giving the flat shapes a worn, sun-bleached feel.
Suits a living room above a low sideboard, a coastal-style bedroom or a home office wall. The ochre and olive blocks sit well with rattan, timber and linen, while the navy palms pick up denim and charcoal upholstery.
