A crowded marina is built from small square and rectangular blocks of colour. Tall masts rise through the top half, with a red-trimmed cabin and a yellow-and-orange boat sitting in the centre. Green bushland sits low along the horizon behind them, broken into dark and light green patches.
The lower half is water, rendered in blues from pale aqua to deep navy and near black. Thin vertical lines drop from the masts to show their reflections, and the red and yellow hulls repeat as wobbling shapes below. Touches of pink and cream flash between the blue blocks. The look is contemporary and abstract, with visible brushwork in each block.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
