About Bubble 9-1
A flat butter-yellow square holds two groups of circles filled with a walnut woodgrain photograph. The largest disc sits high on the right, cropped by the top and right edges, its vertical grain lines running top to bottom in bands of tan, mid-brown and darker chocolate. In the lower left corner a cluster of six smaller circles overlaps on thin stems, like seed heads or bubbles rising, each carrying the same timber grain at a smaller scale. The yellow field between them is completely even, with no shading or tonal shift.
The character is graphic and mid-century: hard-edged shapes, one saturated flat colour and the warmth of real timber grain doing all the texture work. It reads as a bold poster-style design rather than a scene.
Works in a kitchen, dining nook or home office where timber furniture and warm yellow tones already appear. Pairs with oak or walnut sideboards, tan leather, cane and white walls.
