About Cape Naturaliste Margaret River
Shot straight down from the air, the image splits into three bands. Across the top, dense coastal scrub in olive and deep green runs to the edge of the frame, broken by pale sandy clearings. Below it a zigzag strip of cream sand cuts diagonally, edged with clusters of rounded granite boulders in warm grey and rust. The lower two thirds is water: bright turquoise in the shallows, shifting to deeper teal and navy where dark reef and seagrass patches spread across the sand floor. Thin white lines of surf trace the rocks.
The character is clean and graphic, with the coastline reading as a sharp angular line between green land and glass-clear water. Fine ripple texture across the shallows keeps it calm rather than dramatic.
Suits coastal and beach house interiors, a main bedroom above the bed head, or a hallway that needs a hit of blue. Works against white, limewash or pale timber walls and pairs with rattan, linen bedding, jute rugs and brushed brass fittings. Large sizes hold their own above a long sofa or sideboard.
