About Cigar Heels
A cropped figure is drawn from the waist down on a plain white ground. Long legs cross mid-stride, the front foot pointed and the back heel lifting, both in stiletto shoes sketched with quick scribbled strokes. A short skirt is suggested with pale grey washes and fine hatching, while a single thick charcoal ribbon loops out to the left in a coil and sweeps to the right in a tapering tail. Loose grey scribble beneath the shoes reads as a shadow on the floor.
Everything is made from very few marks: thin contour lines, a handful of dark accents at the knee and ankle, and one bold gestural curve. The character is fast, confident and graphic, the kind of drawing that keeps its energy at any size.
Suits a walk-in wardrobe, dressing area or bedroom wall, and works in hair and beauty salons or boutique fitting rooms. The white ground keeps it light against pale plaster, timber or soft grey paint. Pair it with black metal frames, a chrome floor lamp, or a second monochrome figure print hung alongside.
