About Coffee Pot Still Life
A tall cream and ochre coffee pot stands on the right, its dark curved handle and small knob-topped lid drawn in soft shading, the body split between pale cream above and warm apricot below. In front of it a small dark espresso cup sits on a red-brown saucer, and lower left a white cup of black coffee rests on a pale saucer. Curling ribbons of steam rise from both cups as flat white spirals. Three coffee beans float at the far left.
The background is divided into wedges and rectangles of amber, rust and near-black, with outline drawings of a second coffee pot and a cup and saucer scratched in gold line. Brushwork is smooth and blended with a lightly worked, slightly mottled surface. The mood is warm and graphic: a café sign crossed with a painted still life.
Made for kitchens, breakfast nooks and café or coffee-shop walls, where the burnt orange and brown sit well against timber cabinetry, brick or cream paint. It pairs with copper pendant lights, terracotta tiles and open shelving, and works above a coffee bench or beside a small dining table. Browse more still life, brown and earthy art, square paintings.
