About Eiffel Tower Autumn
A square photograph of the Eiffel Tower seen head-on from the Champ de Mars, the lattice iron structure placed just right of centre and rising through the upper half of the frame. The sky is flat, pale grey and almost empty, giving the tower a clean silhouette. Rows of autumn trees in rust, orange and copper run down both edges of the picture, framing the open lawn. The foreground grass is patchy green and worn to bare brown earth, with scattered fallen leaves and small figures walking near the base.
The character is quiet and slightly melancholy rather than postcard-bright: muted light, soft focus at the outer edges and warm autumn colour set against a cool, washed sky.
Suits a living room, bedroom or home office with warm neutral walls, oak or walnut timber and linen upholstery. The rust and copper tones pick up terracotta cushions and tan leather, while the grey sky keeps it calm. Works on its own above a sideboard or in a square grid with other travel photographs.
