Stretched, ready to hang
Your canvas is stretched on a timber frame with the hanging wire already attached. Clean, frameless gallery look.
Floating frame
The stretched canvas sits inside a slim timber frame in white, black, natural or silver, with a small shadow gap around the edge. Delivered framed and ready to hang.

About Gilded Botanical VII
A single open flower fills the upper half of the frame, its wide ruffled petals drawn in pale cream and washed through with ochre and gold. Fine hairline veins run from the centre outwards, and the crowded stamen boss at the heart is stippled with darker tan flecks. Below, a slim double stem angles down to the right, crossed by a broad crumpled leaf at lower left that carries the heaviest gold staining. The background is left plain white with no border or shadow.
The character is quiet and pressed-flower like: thin washes, visible paper-grain mottling in the leaf, and large areas of empty white that let the single bloom sit alone. Nothing is outlined in black, so the whole image reads as soft gold on white.
Suits bedrooms, bathrooms, entryways and home offices where walls are white, off-white or pale grey. Works above a bedhead, beside a mirror, or as one of a pair with another gold botanical. Pairs with linen bedding, rattan, oak or brass fittings, and with beach-house and Hamptons-style rooms that already use warm neutrals. The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
