About Great Barrier Reef Australia
Shot from the air, the frame is stacked in horizontal bands. A pale blue sky sits along the top edge with a low smudge of cloud and a faint blue-grey land mass on the horizon. Below it, open ocean runs in ribbons of mid-blue and near-navy, broken by a long submerged reef line. The lower two thirds open into a shallow lagoon of bright turquoise, rimmed by exposed sandbanks in cream and grey. Dark coral clusters and a single deep pool sit in the aqua water at lower left.
The character is calm and map-like: a clean, sunlit photograph where the eye follows colour shifts from navy to aqua rather than any single focal point.
Suits beach houses, coastal bedrooms and light living rooms with white or driftwood timber walls. It works above a low sideboard or bedhead, and pairs with linen bedding, rattan, pale oak and woven jute.
