About Grey Marble Wall Art Print
A square abstract built from sweeping horizontal and diagonal bands of white and pale grey, layered so densely that the surface reads like cut marble. Running across the upper half are broken seams of dark brown and rust, thickening towards the right edge and breaking into scattered flecks near the top left. A second seam crosses the lower third, where near-black smudges sit against soft grey. Fine dragged striations run through the white, giving the flat areas a combed, ridged texture.
The character is cool and quiet, with the mineral feel of a split stone slab rather than any recognisable scene. The scattered brown fragments give the composition its only warmth and keep the eye moving diagonally across the square.
Suits bathrooms and ensuites where the marbled greys echo stone tiling and tapware, and works in bedrooms above a bed with white linen. The brown seams pick up timber bedheads, rattan and leather. In a home office or dining room it pairs well with black frames, concrete lamps and pale walls.
