About Teal Blossom Swirl
Slender dark branches sweep in from the left and right edges and arch across the centre of a wide panoramic canvas, carrying hundreds of small white and pale blue blossoms. The background is built from broad circular strokes of turquoise, teal and deep navy that spiral outward from a bright pale centre behind the main branch, giving the sky a whirlpool rhythm. At the right, upright trunks streaked with copper and grey brown stand in shadow, anchoring the composition and balancing the lighter left side.
Each blossom is laid on with a palette knife, so the petals sit up off the surface as raised dabs that catch the light, while the background is smoothed into long sweeping ridges. The overall character is calm but energetic: a quiet colour scheme of teal and white, given movement by the swirling sky and the scatter of thick blossom.
The long horizontal format suits a wall above a three-seater sofa, a bedhead or a sideboard in a hallway. The teal and white reads well against white, grey or pale timber walls, and pairs with navy cushions, brushed silver or chrome fittings and glass.
