About Kooroomba Queensland Vineyard
Rows of weathered grey timber posts march from the left foreground into the distance, carrying wire trellises strung with bare, twisted grapevines. Thick green grass grows between the rows, with scattered red flowers and a few tufts of dry stalks near the base of the posts. Behind the vineyard sits a line of dark trees, a paddock, a power pole and a small cluster of buildings, then blue-green forested ranges rising under a soft, overcast sky streaked with pale cloud.
The mood is quiet and early in the season: dormant vines, damp grass and cool light with no strong shadows. The photograph reads as an honest rural record rather than a polished postcard, its detail sitting in the grain of the posts and the layered ridgelines.
Suits a living room or dining wall where wine and food are part of the room, and works in kitchens, hallways and home offices with timber furniture, linen and cane.
