About Liquid Enigma I
A single oversized bloom fills the square, its five broad petals opening from a pale centre where white and silver-blue swirls radiate outward like poured liquid. The petals shift from soft powder blue at the upper left to deep saturated blue at the upper right, then to cream and white along the lower edge. Ribbons of metallic gold run through the folds, pooling into flecked patches near the base and tracing thin veins toward the petal tips. The background is a flat deep navy that holds the flower forward.
The character is calm but dramatic: a marbled, fluid-looking flower with no hard outlines, where colour appears to have bled and settled on its own. Against the unbroken navy field it reads as both botanical and abstract.
Works above a bed with white linen and navy cushions, or over a sideboard in a dining room. The square format suits a narrow hallway wall or a bathroom with brass tapware. Pairs with dark timber, rattan, marble and warm metallics, and sits comfortably in coastal and contemporary rooms where blue already features.
