About MCG Melbourne Aerial
An aerial photograph taken from above Melbourne looking across the sporting precinct. The Melbourne Cricket Ground sits left of centre with its ribbed grey roof, white light towers and curved concrete ramps. To the right are the white roofs of Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena, ringed by rows of bright blue hard courts. The brown-green Yarra River curves along the lower right, crossed by road and rail lines, with parkland trees, railway yards and a haze of low suburban rooftops filling the distance.
