Four large poppy-like flowers fill this square image: one deep purple on the left, one chalky white at the lower centre, and two in pale blue-grey and slate grey on the right. Each has broad, rounded petals and a dense black centre. The petals look thick and textured, with visible ridges of built-up paint.
Small butterflies are scattered across the surface, some in bronze-gold and a few in bright yellow-orange, with tiny purple blooms near the bottom edge. Black and white splatters and fine dotted lines spray out from the flower centres. The background shifts from smoky grey to near black, with drips running down the lower right.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
