About Mocha Delight
A single spiral fills the whole canvas, winding out from a small pale cream eye set slightly above and left of centre. The bands alternate between deep rust brown, burnt orange, warm ochre and soft cream, with narrow threads of olive and dark green tucked between the wider arcs. As the coil widens towards the edges the bands stretch and flatten, running off all four sides so the movement continues past the frame. Brushstrokes follow the curve, leaving fine ridged lines in the paint that catch light along each arc.

Works in a hallway, stairwell or dining room where a warm, low-contrast colour scheme already exists. It sits well against cream, sand or clay-coloured walls and suits timber furniture, leather seating, rattan and terracotta pots. Hang it alone at eye level so the spiral has space, or over a sideboard in an open-plan living area. Browse more the Statton Collection, abstract oil paintings, earthy tones.
