About Sunset Orbit
Broad curved bands sweep across a warm apricot ground, arcing from the upper left, bending through the centre and exiting at the right edge. Each band is built from stacked strokes of burnt orange, red, black and chalky white, so the curves read as ribbons of light rather than flat lines. Near the right of centre a small sphere painted in black with a pale blue crescent sits on one of the arcs, the only closed shape in the picture. Below it, short white and black vertical ticks cross the horizontal sweep like a row of posts.
The paint is thinly brushed and blended, with visible drag marks along the long curves and crisp, dry-brushed edges on the smaller marks. The overall character is calm and graphic, a warm sunset palette held together by one clean geometric accent.
Suits a warm neutral lounge room, a hallway above a console, or an office reception wall. It sits well with timber furniture, cream or caramel leather, terracotta pots and brass lamps. The apricot ground reads softly against off-white or sand walls, while the black and white marks pick up dark metal frames and charcoal cushions.
