About My Home
A square composition filled edge to edge with overlapping tropical foliage. Split monstera leaves, long banana fronds and slim stems cross the frame in deep forest green, teal and soft sage, with pale cream showing through the gaps where the background lightens. Small strokes of mustard yellow sit along a few stems and leaf edges. Across the centre, running on a diagonal from lower left to upper right, the words "My Home" are written in a loose white brush script with long tapering tails.
The surface shows visible canvas weave and dry, streaky strokes through the lighter leaves, so the greens look layered rather than flat. It reads as relaxed and leafy, a quiet greeting rather than a loud statement piece.
Suits an entry hallway, living room or bedroom where you want greenery without a real plant. Works in beach house and coastal interiors, on white or pale grey walls, and sits well above a console, sideboard or bedhead. Pairs with rattan, linen, timber furniture and brass or black metal accents. Browse more green art, multi-coloured art, or read Art above the bed: what size and how high.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
