About Neon Dreaming J
A square abstract built from flooded ink and dye. Cobalt and royal blue shapes crowd the top edge and corners, some dense and saturated, others thinned to a pale wash where the pigment has spread and dried with hard edges. Through the centre sits a broad field of cream and warm grey, almost untouched, shaped like a shallow bowl. Charcoal ribbons sweep in from the left and curve along the bottom, with fine black hairlines trailing across the pale area like drawn wire.
The effect is liquid and unplanned: colour has been allowed to pool, bleed and separate rather than be drawn. It reads as calm at the centre and restless around the edges.
Works in a bedroom above a bed head, in a bathroom or ensuite where the blue suits tiles and chrome, or in a dining room on a white or pale grey wall. Pairs with black-framed mirrors, oak and rattan furniture, linen bedding, and beach house interiors that already use navy and cream.
