About Peach Rose Splendor II
Six open peach roses fill the frame in a loose cluster, each bloom turned at a different angle so you see spiralling centres, curled outer petals and the pale cream edges where the light catches them. Apricot deepens to soft rust in the shadowed folds. Olive and sage leaves push out from the lower left and behind the flowers, with a few thin green buds at the right. The background dissolves into warm gold, butter yellow and faint blue-grey strokes that blur out of focus.
The mood is quiet and traditional: warm, romantic and softly lit, with the roses rendered in careful detail while everything around them stays deliberately loose and hazy. A small signature sits in the lower right corner of the artwork.
Suits bedrooms, guest rooms, formal dining rooms and hallways with cream, beige or soft green walls. It sits well above a bed head, a sideboard or a hall table, and pairs with timber furniture, linen bedding, brass lamps and other florals or classic still life prints.
