About Brisbane City at Night
An elevated view looks down the Brisbane River as it bends away to the left, its surface a flat sheet of grey-blue holding soft reflections of city lights. Small boats and a moving vessel leave pale wakes across the water. On the right, office towers rise in a tight cluster, their windows lit gold and white, with one building capped by a blue horizontal light band. Street lights trace orange lines through the roads and car parks at the base of the towers.
Above, heavy cloud spreads in blue-grey layers across a deep twilight sky, giving the image its cool overall cast. Distant suburbs glimmer as a low line of warm dots along the far bank, with dark tree masses on the left shoreline. The character here is quiet rather than busy: a real city photographed in the short window between sunset and night, warm light against cool water and sky.
Suits a living room, home office or bedroom where blue-grey walls, charcoal upholstery or timber furniture pick up the water and sky tones. The gold window lights work with brass lamps and tan leather. Hang it above a sofa, sideboard or desk, and pair it with other Australian city or coastal prints.
