About Rainbowl III
Five glass-like spheres sit on a glossy blue plane beneath a deep blue sky streaked with soft cloud. The largest sphere, right of centre, grades from red and orange at the crown through yellow and green to a violet-magenta base. A mid-sized green and purple sphere anchors the left, with a smaller turquoise orb between them and two tiny beads floating just above the horizon line. Each sphere throws a bright magenta pool of light onto the surface below it.
The finish is smooth and photographic rather than textured, with crisp highlights, mirror reflections and soft gradients where the colours blend inside the glass. Its character is bright and playful, a clean piece of colour-saturated digital surrealism with strong graphic contrast between the cool blue field and the hot rainbow spectrum.
Works in a living room, teenager's bedroom, home office or beach house hallway where a hit of colour is wanted against white or pale grey walls.
