A photograph of a sand dune filling most of a portrait frame. The sand is a saturated orange, and the foreground is covered in fine, wavy ripples left by the wind. The ripples run in tight, branching lines and make a repeating pattern across the whole lower half.
The dune rises in soft folds to a low horizon about a third of the way down from the top. Above it the sky shifts from deep indigo blue at the top to a paler violet near the horizon. Low side light picks out the ridges in bright orange and drops the troughs into dark brown shadow, so the colour contrast between sand and sky is strong.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
